Nominations

Nominations for the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists 2020 supported by Yahoo Finance are now open.

The OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists showcase LGBT+ business leaders and allies who are breaking down barriers and creating more inclusive workplaces across the world.

There are three categories to nominate in:

  • 100 LGBT+ Executives

Our 100 LGBT+ Executives List is for LGBT+ executives who are working hard to create more LGBT+ inclusive workplaces. Nominees for this category are working within three levels from the chief executive within large organizations, or are leaders of smaller organizations.

  • 100 LGBT+ Future Leaders

Our 100 LGBT+ Future Leaders List is for inspirational LGBT+ people who are not yet senior leaders in an organisation but are making a significant contribution to LGBT+ inclusion at work.

  • 50 Ally Executives

Our 50 Ally Executives List is for senior leaders who are allies of the LGBT+ community and working hard in the private sector to create more LGBT+ inclusive workplaces. . Nominees for this category are working within three levels from the chief executive within large organizations, or are leaders of smaller organizations.


Entry Criteria

  • Nominees to our LGBT+ Role Model Executive and Future Leader Lists must identify as LGBT+, can be any nationality, and based in any country.
  • Nominees for the OUTstanding LGBT+ Executive Role Model category must work within three levels from the chief executive within large organizations, be leaders of smaller organizations, or be able to demonstrate in their submission an equivalent level of seniority and influence.
  • Nominees for the OUTstanding LGBT+ Future Leader category can be any individuals who are not yet senior leaders in an organization but are making a significant contribution to LGBT+ inclusion at work.
  • Nominees for the OUTstanding LGBT+ Ally Executive category are working within three levels from the chief executive within large organizations, or are leaders of smaller organizations. They are senior leaders who are not LGBT+ themselves but are dedicated to creating a more diverse and inclusive business environment for the LGBT+ community.
  • In line with our judging criteria, those who work professionally within diversity & inclusion related roles will need to demonstrate the work they have done beyond the standard expectations and remit of their role to be considered for our OUTstanding Role Model Lists.
  • All nominees must be over 18 years of age prior to the nomination deadline.

Once you have completed your nomination, a notification will be sent directly to your nominee asking them to complete our submissions form. This information will be used in the judging process.

Nominations are currently open. The deadline for nominations is 18 September 2020.
